STATIONERY BUDGET TIPS

Do not order items that could be incorporated into something else, hence saving you money in the process!

For example: I regularly advise my customers that they do not necessarily need seperate RSVP CARDS as most people either use mobile phones or email to communicate with friends, family & associates – that alone will save you $3.60 min (as you need to add a stamp).

Postcard RSVP’s have a high rating to getting lost in the mail as they are small and thin - so why take the risk, even though it’s a cheaper alternative to a proper card and envelope.

Another item that can be minimised are Place Cards by using Trifold or Flat Table Cards instead!  For example, unless it’s extremely necessary, people tend to move around a table to sit next to someone you might have thought they did not want to!  That can save you a minimum $10.00 per table.

HAVE A THINK ABOUT THE ABOVE BEFORE YOU COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT!

ORDERING TIME SCHEDULE

Begin looking for invitations as early as 6 months prior to occasion.  However, if you have left it late it’s still possible to get things done quickly without comprimising on design at least 8 weeks prior to your wedding.

Have your guest list ready – this hurries up the process.

Bring along any colour and/or design scheme with you as this too helps speed things up.

Always allow a min of 5 blanks for that emergency and keepsake – this amount depends on how big the order (5 is based on 50-70 invitations).

FAVOURS / BOMBONIERE your favours must not be left for less than 8 weeks prior to the occasion, as they are time consuming to put together.
